If you would like to learn how blacksmiths, knife makers, and armourers worked in the Middle Ages, come visit us at our blacksmith's workshop right in the centre of Prague. Our experienced blacksmiths and knife makers will guide your hands as you forge, and you will take home a beautiful knife. What to Expect

Live Prague Blacksmith Experience!

The experience takes place in the central workshop, located near Wenceslas Square in Prague, and invites you to try your hand at metalworking — no prior experience needed. During the workshop, an experienced blacksmith will guide you through every step of the adventurous process of forging and making your own knife or dagger.

At the end of the course, you take home your own handmade piece — a functional, unique work forged by you with your own hands. All tools, materials and safety equipment are provided.

We do recommend wearing work or casual clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and sturdy, closed-toe shoes. Please avoid synthetic clothing (like nylon), as it doesn’t offer enough protection when working with heat. A changing room is available on-site.
