During this 2 hours long tour you will learn about the history of communism in Czechoslovakia and the Cold War. You will hear stories of terror and propaganda. Stories about political prisoners and spies, about executions and lies. Did you know that there was the biggest statue in the world of Stalin ever built in Prague? 

Learn about the Prague Spring and the Soviet Invasion of 1968 and hear the story of student Jan Palach who committed self-immolation on Wenceslas square on 16 January 1969 in protest against the suppression of freedom. As well as about the impact of politicians as Alexander Dubček and Václav Havel. 

You will see sights connected to this era. See the former secret police building, Velvet Revolution memorial on Národní třída, the former worker's district with typical socialists 1970s style concrete architecture and a unique Cold War relic. Finally visit a real nuclear bunker from the 1950s, hidden 4 floors deep, built for 5000 people to survive a nuclear blast behind a 4-ton heavy door, a Cold War Museum with historical expositions of nuclear war, military equipment, and civil defense item collection.
